- Lord, we pray for wisdom for our political leaders. We pray that all those in positions of power will work in ways which benefit Your people, and bring Your kingdom a little closer to Earth. Amen.

For our Diocesan Link in Sudan and for The Holy Land:

We pray for all people who feel insecure in their land. We pray for the fearful, the injured, the bereaved, the homeless and the despairing. We pray for the leaders in these lands to seek peace and prosperity for all. Amen.
- In Cross Hills we pray for all who live or work on Hall Street, Rhodesia Street, East Avenue, Albert Road, Holme Lane, & Woodturners Close.
- We pray for all involved in the stories we have seen or heard on the news this week.

The Parish APCM has, unfortunately, had to be moved due to a delay in the finances being signed off. The new date for the APCM is:

There will be a short said communion service first at 7pm. We hope you will be able to join us at this rearranged date.

Dates for your diary

On Sunday 5th May from 2-4pm, St John's Cononley will be hosting Afternoon Tea for people coming to look at the Cononley Scarecrow Festival. Perhaps you would like to come over and support this by, offering some cake/scones, offering your time to help, or just coming over and having afternoon tea.

Whichever is your preference, please do come to Cononley on the 5th and support Your Parish.

Fit more active travel into your day and daily routine. Starting 22nd April, the eight-session Bible Course meets fortnightly in Kildwick's Upper Room, combining video teaching, group discussion, and personal reflection.
