For your prayers this week
- Gracious God, we give you thanks for the gift of the world-wide Anglican Communion of churches. Remind us that you are with us in times of trouble as in times of joy; nurture in us thankful hearts when we stand together, and send your holy wisdom into our disagreements. Amen.
- For our Diocesan Link in Sudan and for The Holy Land:
God of mercy and compassion, of grace and reconciliation, pour your power upon all your children living through war and conflict: Jews, Muslims and Christians,
people of any faith or none. Let hatred be turned into love, fear to trust, despair to hope, oppression to freedom, occupation to liberation, that violent encounters may be replaced by loving embraces, and peace and justice could be experienced by all. Amen
