Services across the parish

I have had many comments over the last 18 months that people really enjoy our united parish services on the 5th Sunday of the month. It was therefore decided at a PCC meeting in November to make these a monthly occurrence. This will enable us to get together from across the parish to build upon our friendships and to share Holy Communion together.

These united services will take place on the second Sunday of the month at 10am, with the rota until July being:

11th February at St Mary’s Bradley

10th March at St Andrew’s Kildwick (Mothering Sunday)

14th April at St John’s Cononley (with guest Tim Lee from Jigsaw)

28th April at St Mary’s Bradley (special extra united service for our APCM)

12th May at St John’s Cononley

9th June at St Andrew’s Kildwick

7th July at St John’s Cononley (Confirmation service with rededication of the church by Bishop Toby)

As well as this change, the PCC also agreed in January that starting in May, the first Sunday of the month in St Andrew’s Kildwick will be an All Age Communion service, and that the fourth Sunday of the month in St John’s Cononley will be a café style service where tea, coffee, toast etc will be served before the service starts in a relaxed style.
