St Andrew’s Kildwick

St Andrew’s is an ancient church mentioned in the 1087 Domesday Book.

We have much history in St Andrew’s, from bits of 10th century Christian crosses, to a letter from Florence Nightingale, to an ancient parish chest, to a monument of a Knight Templar ….. the list goes on. Do come and visit us and see over 1000 years of history for yourself.

St Andrew’s church is classified as a “Major Church” in the Church of England, alongside the Cathedrals and some of the most important parish churches in the country.

When you visit we have leaflets to guide you round some of our heritage. Our indoor leaflet can been previewed here, and our outdoor leaflet here.
