Visiting Ringers

We have two visiting bands of ringers in the next few days.

First – on Saturday (22nd) the Ladies’ Guild will descend on us to attempt a quarter peal (about 50 minutes of ringing) at 3.00pm.  They will have gathered from all over the country – we are just one of the 14 tower visits that have been arranged over the weekend.  I think we can expect some competent ringing!

The following Thursday (27th October) our visitors will be led by Andrew, a past President of the Yorkshire Association.  They. too, may attempt a quarter.  They arrive at 10.00am.

Some good ringing to look forward to!
